Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of ShasPOS Pro, an online SaaS point-of-sale and business operations product developed by ShasTech-IT. If a separate written order, subscription agreement or enterprise agreement applies, that agreement may add to or override these Terms to the extent stated there.

1. The service

ShasPOS Pro provides online POS, inventory, purchasing, customer/supplier, reporting, finance-foundation, document, hardware-integration and related SaaS features. Features, limits and entitlements depend on the active subscription plan and product version.

2. Online-only operation

ShasPOS Pro requires an internet connection. The product does not promise an offline transaction/synchronization mode. Customers should maintain suitable connectivity for their operating environment.

3. Accounts and business workspaces

You must provide accurate account information, protect authentication credentials and use only accounts and business workspaces you are authorized to access. Business owners and administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate roles, outlets and permissions to their users.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse ShasPOS Pro, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, bypass subscription or security controls, introduce malicious code, use the service for unlawful activity, or access another customer's data without authorization.

5. Customer data

Customers remain responsible for the business content they enter into ShasPOS Pro and for ensuring that their collection and use of employee, customer, supplier and transaction information is lawful and appropriate. You should maintain any business records or exports your organization independently requires.

6. Subscriptions, pricing and payment

Subscription plans can include feature entitlements and limits for outlets, devices, users and products. Prices, billing cycles, trials and payment availability are those presented by the service at checkout or agreed separately. Payment processing may be provided through configured third-party gateways.

7. Changes, cancellation and suspension

Subscription changes, cancellation timing, grace periods and service access follow the subscription state shown in ShasPOS Pro and any applicable order terms. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, abuse, legal requirements or material breach.

8. Hardware and third-party services

Printer, scanner, cash-drawer and operating-system compatibility depends on the specific hardware, driver, protocol, browser and platform. Customers should test target hardware before deployment. Third-party services, including payment gateways, may be governed by separate terms.

9. Availability, maintenance and backups

We work to operate ShasPOS Pro reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, hosting incidents, network failures, third-party outages and other events can affect access. Customers should follow appropriate business-continuity and record-retention practices for their operations.

10. Intellectual property

ShasPOS Pro software, branding, website content and related product materials are owned by or licensed to ShasTech-IT. These Terms provide a right to use the service during an authorized subscription; they do not transfer ownership of the product source code or intellectual property.

11. Security and responsible disclosure

You must not conduct disruptive security testing or attempt to exploit the service. If you believe you found a security issue, contact ShasTech-IT with enough information to investigate it without publicly disclosing sensitive exploit details.

12. Termination and account deletion

You may request account deletion through the Account Deletion page. Identity and authority are verified before destructive action. Some data may remain where reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, contractual or legal reasons.

13. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ShasPOS Pro is provided on an “as available” basis and ShasTech-IT does not guarantee that every feature, integration or hardware combination will be suitable for every business. Any limitation of liability is subject to mandatory law and any separate written agreement that applies to the customer.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the product, commercial model or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
